Rota Reunions

Now that so many Admirals are in touch with each other on a regular basis, Rota reunions are popping up all over the country. Some of them are organized for small groups, while other people just meet for lunch or a family get-together.

For the Class of 80, this will be our 30-year reunion! Dress is casual. The price is inclusive per person of $201.22, which includes a room for 2 nights, a wine and cheese party on Saturday afternoon, and dinner Saturday night. Houlihan’s Restaurant/bar is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is located on a golf course for those who like to golf.

Below are details you should know so you can plan accordingly. This event is casual. There will be no “professional photographer,” so bring your cameras and share. The total per person is $201.22 this includes a standard room for 2 nights, wine and cheese party Saturday, and dinner Saturday night, all taxes and gratuities included (standard room w/tax is $138.03, wine and cheese $14.74 per person, hors d’oeuvres and dinner $48.46 per person). If you would like to get a suite, the cost w/tax is $180.83 an extra $42.80. My goal is to fill this hotel with Rota Admirals and their spouses or significant other. We need to have a total of 150 people to attend to get the rate of $201.22 per person. For those of you “maybe attending” or have not responded yet, say you will come. Let the rest of us know by responding and confirming.

DO NOT CALL AND MAKE RESERVATIONS YET. By the end of this month I will have a CODE for you to use and the number to call the hotel directly so that you get the special rate. For those of you who sent in deposits, your name and how much you paid are on a spreadsheet that I have and the hotel has, which will be deducted from your $201.22. More details on that when I get the CODE.

6 to 7 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres (cash bar will be set up)
7 – 8 p.m. Dinner
We have the ballroom until 11 p.m.
Music will be provided by “Ace Entertainment” owner Chuck Carroll
