Spanish Recipes

I see people on Facebook asking for and sharing recipes quite often. We all want to know how to make a great paella, or duplicate the garlic chicken we remember so fondly. And many of us are seeking the perfect sangria recipe, pinchitos recipe, or an easy Pan de Cadiz recipe. Spanish recipes are all over the Internet, but I thought it would be more fun for us to share our personal recipes with each other.

If you have a Spanish recipe you’d like to share, or if you’re wondering how to make something you remember from your time in Spain, please contact me. Thank you for sharing!

We were in Rota from 72 to 79. I would love to have recipes for the pizza dough and the salad dressing at muhammads pizzaria. Also looking for a real gaspacho recipe. And where can i get spanish bread (pan) and chorizo????

Hi Everett! I haven’t run across those recipes yet, but you can find authentic Spanish chorizo here: http://dgfalumni.com/chorizo. That site also has Spanish bread, and lots of other delicious Spanish foods and other items. Enjoy!

Would you have a recipe for turrones de cadiz— a pastry made with paste from potatoes and cashew and sugar.?
Thanks

Hello! Thank you for your comment. I think you may be referring to Pan de Cadiz, which is made from sweet potatoes, ground almonds, and sugar, along with a few other yummy ingredients. You’ll find a Pan de Cadiz recipe here, and I also mentioned it in my Spanish holiday foods post where you can buy it if you’d rather not make it yourself. Good luck! :-)
